Once I saw the park full of birds playing

SONNET  480
Once I saw the park full of birds playing
Children play with kids, cool breeze blowing:
Looking at the kids the birds were saying
Let us leave the park the kids at us glowing
I saw the children climbing up the tall trees
To snatch the birds’ eggs and chick in lone
The children, sleeping chicks knowing tease
I saw the birds weeping when they have gone
Dear children! Go in parks, do not mar flowers,
Plants and birds, they hail you with open arms
The birds weep when someone park beauty mars
Thus evil kids bleak the prettiest garden charm

The world: a beautiful garden of God, protect it
God will be happy watching your wonder wit
