I forget day toil watching your red, red cheek

SONNET  485
I forget day toil watching your red, red cheek
My sleeping-wit awakes your cute, cute eyes
But belles’ love false my peculiar mind freak
My sweet beloved tongue is full of secret lies
I listen to nightingale singing all lovers’ woe
Telling woe full tale to flowers but no reply
Like stone my beloved’s heart is most true
Your cunning eyes teach me how to tell a lie
Forgetting anger, come and sit by my side
An live my heart forever and stay in my ball
Blush prevailing on cheeks tell me, not hide
Trust adds glee to life and love devours gall

O Rose! Mistrust in love ruins our holy soul
Your grace enhances your cheek’s tiny mole
