When I compare your beauty with my verse

When I compare your beauty with my verse
Your beauty is immortal like human frame,
Like peacock paws in love my being I curse,
I love your beauty but could not heart tame,
When I see time check on your pretty cheeks,
Time steals your beauty; now look in the glass,
Silver in your hair shining, on the front creaks
It is time-beauty game and time wins the toss,
Your praise in my verse will surpass the age,
When you and my breath flies but you remain,
Now your mortal beauty lies in my verse cage,
Deleting you from my verse time effort in vain

Stronger more than cruel time my immortal lines,
When in the tomb with vermin your being dines
