JH Sayyar's Sonnets

477
My Rose your love less kissing prolongs sorrows
Your bodies in my arms, your mind out of reach:
Your faith less watching like barren primrose
We standing face to face like North- South Pole
O Rose! Love is the child of soul, your souls barren
Love without loyalty as a flower without smell
It is universal law O Rose celestial and terrene
When pride enters into heart turn heaven into hell
When I come home tired keeping in poor ruth
Your ruthless eyes welcome not my humble heart
Your love is false tells me your loyal eyes’ truth
My mystic eye watches your new beau cart

Time unfolds conscious O Rose today or tomorrow
My mentor on earth I think your true pretty sorrow
