JH Sayyar's Sonnets

457
O Rose in judging your looks my senses weak
I think your chary eyes always me do deceive
Now I find my perfect love now I stop my seek
But your red, red cheeks me every time grieve
I wandered day and night in search of love true
I find cute, cute faces but all void of sincerity
I waste my precious time I get day and night rue
But I find betwixt beauty and loyalty disparity
O Rose without loyalty love is a pure self deceit
Make your thinking loyal, leave a print behind
Now you young like a fawn full of sparrow heat
Otherwise your passions will your heart grind

Alas! This world is fond of youth and rosy cheeks
All the lovers turn their faces when on face creeks
