JH Sayyar's Sonnets

456
When I see your face opening my image book
I see you ever young as I have seen you in past
Cheeks shining like rose and cute your eyes’ look
Your red lips I see as happy as seagull on the mast
I see you face to face after a long and long time
Trenches on the cheeks, your sunken eyes show?
Cheeks wither like roses but fresh in the rhyme
Time bird builds a nest on head, silver hair grow
Your beauty and emotions, cruel time defeats
Now follow the trends of time wherever you go
Sit like a child in church and enjoy heavenly feats
Now silver hair I see O Lady on your eyebrow

Do not worry who live in eyes time does not steel
But pleasure of verses in old age you will also feel
