JH Sayyar's Sonnets

241
When I am disgraced by women’s saucy eyes,
Peeping behind the thoughts exist women’s hate,
Bemoaning my curses heaven touching cries,
Terrible the duller soul and more hard my fate,
Hopes remain hope and reality is a dark dream,
Wish shadow far away from me when I brood,
All wishes burn and turn into mouth steam,
Nor my breath nor my sight smoke turns rude,
I sitting among the willow trees weep all lone,
None around me but your image in the mind eye,
Kissing your red, red lips satisfying my groan,
And your sullen face reveals your inner sky,

Do not weep my traitor love, your saucy eyes I mope,
Your rude painted beauty style burns my pretty hope
