JH Sayyar's Sonnets

212
As a green hunter on a pebbled shore,
Sits all day putting rod in the blue water,
Watches the rod moment’s feeling bore,
At last his long waiting all wills slaughter.
I’m green in love sweetie I trust in you,
Waiting makes me half dead your wait,
Adds to my life one more bitter woe,
Devours all glees and lengthens hate.
I love myself and see in your eyes,
My lovely face reflects the whole truth,
On my birth spirits award me prize,
My heart full of love and free of ruth

So you think I am the lover of your eyes,
No, your eyes my likes I you immortalize.
