JH Sayyar's Sonnets

213
Come and teach my love to love O muse,
Every time I see in your pretty eyes ruth,
When I ask for love you always refuse,
Know not a witch sits behind your youth.
As the canker mars the beauty of rose,
That is born with it hidden in the petals,
Eat beauty by and by hard to diagnose,
As in the history the real cause of battles.
Anger is the canker that lives in the eyes,
And licks the thinking power like termite,
Eats words and makes it hollow no cries,
Just like anger weakens your beauty sight.

Take my love Rose give me your anger,
I hang it on the earthly wisdom hanger.
