JH Sayyar's Sonnets

216
I have spent twenty most precious years,
To trace a true love to console a sad heart,
I fail in the mission but eyes full of tears,
That taught me to love self I to you impart.
Love is nothing the lover’s eye reflection,
You worship your shadow and you call
It your love and deceive you its attraction,
And leads you by and by to the utter fall
My love my being‘s crystal looking glass,
When I see her how charming is my being,
Therefore I love her in loving to surpass,
Do something my youth is rapidly fleeing.

Always love and tears walk always together,
As man with the shadow in the sunny weather
