JH Sayyar's Sonnets

Many a cute faces in my life I have seen,
Killingly silently wits with lazar beauty rays,
Falling from the bough ripened, not fully green,
Hard iron is melt by the naked beauty gaze,
Sighs clouds cover wit soon with smoke,
Falling beauty vapors burn wisdom anon,
Flying crow over the head beauties mock,
I know love is free from the worldly canon,
Your painted beauty deceives a chary brain,
Your labor sweats on your cheeks do swim,
I see from your eyes warm the falling rain,
Thus with woes and wail I my heart trim

Beauty appeals to passions controlling reason,
As spring beauty cheats birds in spring season
