JH Sayyar's Sonnets

109
You cannot blame me for loving you,
You leave me knowingly I hate no more,
I remember up till now your bill and coo,
My mind tells me do not trust in whore.
I give you all pleasures but receive none,
Expect your false smile and a sullen kiss,
That makes me sad now think to shun,
You, all life take it love do not amiss.
Love teaches me always keep in mind,
Whore’s kiss boy-love rests on money,
If you have wealth both to you kind,
All promises sweet like the wild honey

Love bases on money leads lovers to fate,
Love breeds love not but an endless hate.
