JH Sayyar's Sonnets

113
Mission less men just like a tossing bark,
Driving by the wayward waves to and fro,
As a missing child weeps in a jungle park,
Or a cause less anger on a maiden’s brow
In search of food all birds leave the next,
Who serve the little ones ah is no notion
Days are for labor and nights for our rest,
Life glee does make who takes day potion.
Life is given once for all earthly pleasures,
Wise always make their destination better,
Foolish spends time in useless measures,
Yea no blessings on earth for the sin patter.

O man do not waste life in idle pursuits,
As idiots want kids from mandrake roots
